I like odd things; namely games. I can’t handle first person shooters anymore as their pace, detail, etc. has outpaced my capacity for chaos. Give me a “cozy” game where I have to cook a meal, plant a garden OR both and I’ll be happy for hours.
Harold Halibut is an odd mix of things; claymation, mystery, (diet) puzzle solver but it all comes across as quite charming and lets you dig in just enough to keep coming back for more.
A false start (couldn’t get into things) and than an another attempt resulted in 12 hours (or so) of gameplay on and off over the course of a month. Playing on a Playstation Portal allows me to poke away at a number of games as my wife and children sleep; headphones on and i’m in my own little world(s) more interactive than TV & film BUT not endlessly scrolling and interacting like on the phone or tablet.
