Long time fan, first time post on a fantastic Dutch artist/designer/etc. in Jerry-Lee Bosmans. He’s already starting to post new work from 2026 including this lovely colourful, organic piece entitled “450”:
His work is simple but distinct; familiar and striking all at once. For the past years, he’s also posted Desktop, Tablet & Mobile wallpapers for sale on his “Store” at byjer.com. They seem to be up for weeks at a time and are gone just as fast creating a sense of urgency even with a digital item. They’re priced fairly and I always look forward to the next “set” (I think I’ve purchased all of them so far!).
They’re an ever growing collection that I cherish because they’re unique, they’re NOT free and they’re available for a limited time. Again, this feels very “counter culture” where everything is mediocre, free and available forever.
My desktop, tablet & phone all feel like miniature art galleries that display only for me.
What I really like about this setup is much like the world of physical art, the wallpapers are a “gateway” into his world of prints, originals, etc. A traditional “print” would allow an artist into someones life in hopes of them one day collecting more OR commisioning an original.
Last year saw “JLB” or “Byjer” playing around with animation:
